Removed threads

I know threads are sometimes locked but are any threads ever removed entirely? I posted on some recently and it appears that they are gone! No trace doing a search.

Threads can be locked, deleted or moved to the moderators forum for review. The thread you seek is currently under review in mods the forum.

There is one recent topic that was relocated to confer with the Mods as to whether it was "appropriate" for a family-friendly site. The content was really ok but the title was a spam-magnet.

Since changes were made at FL a couple months ago, the Mods have been relieved of the task of cleaning up the massive daily spam. Just waiting for a consensus but expect the title will be changed and the topic returned.

I found out where the problem was. It was a thread that talked about absentee ballots and I think I typed the reply but didn't hit SUBMIT. I looked at my recent posts and did not see it. The thread still exists but I guess my old age took over and didn't post my reply.
What thread did you think I was asking about? I don't recall anything else missing (except my memory)!
