I don't know about the site liutilities but you can do a driver rollback. I've used that feature in windows 2000 when a supposed MS driver update broke my ethernet connection!
Before you do much else, can you restore to yesterday? Maybe the printer and scanner will again work. If nothing has changed then again restore to today's date. |

| I have XP. Can I do a rollback with XP? I also have Norton Go Back. Is it easy to do? Thanks. |

Ok. I figured out how to do it. I hooked the USB into my laptop and downloaded a copy of my printer with the scan wizard. It says "copy 1". I can use this copy for scanning pictures and word documents (with OCR) when I designate it as the default printer. I cannot print with it. To print I have to go back to the other downloaded printer and make it the default.
Seems ridiculous but so far it works great. I just keep ithe printer that I can print from as the default most of the time and when I need to scan I change it to the copy.  |
