Big fan of slipstream and the program called, "myproxy", as essential browsing tools for dialup. This, inspite of my mdi/hotkey addiction with Opera.
However, where is the forum for the accelerators. Ex.: Slipstream has some essential needs, and no update for about a year. (...Hotkey to raise and lower image quality..Auto bypass and reconnect when external servers go down...Ability to use backup servers and services like old icq could do...Client side option for image smoothing, like jpeg enhacer...Option for lossey web pages to double html delivery speed...) These issues are large, and in my face every day.... Yet no budging. Still, slipstream data beats propel, and all other accelerators I've tried. Browseblast seem to be a tad more expensive but more reliable than my vroomspeed experience with stubborn insistence on load balancing/not offering us alt servers/ and constant downtime due to what ever. Hope they got it resolved. |
