Since I'm signed in, I can't check but I do see a sign out link at the top right. Perhaps she can use that to sign in.
How about www.gmail.com ?
I will fire up one of my computers with a modem and see how I get in using dialup then post the links, if I can get them to work.
Also it might help to know what Operating system she is using and what browser (with the version) she uses to try and access her webmail.
