Yes it is good and you can send/receive emails for everywhere. You also have acces to your emails from anywhere by going on the web site and clicking on " 295.ca web mail".

295.ca is the worst provider I have used yet. Slow connection, disconects,
can not find server 75% of the time.
Waste of money

I have been using this service for about one month, and I am very happy with it.
It is available in Montreal, and most of Quebec.

Why don't you try checking under 3web.net in this forum? It gives the website address which you can visit to get the information you require.

I know another one....called 3web. But the things is i can't find the dial-up number because when i used it...i must take they own application to go surfing on the net.

So can someone knows what is the dialup number of this server in Montreal. Email me ...

An ISP which is "not national" means that it is not available all over the country but just a localized area. E-mail can still be sent anywhere in the world.

just got this today and find no banner adds no pop ups.no added software.so far better then juno or net-o and cheper.havent had a chance to check reliability yet. Cool

just signed up with them about 2 weeks ago. Quite happy with them.
Sign-up fee is $10.00 + $2.95 (+GST) monthly.
If you go to  www.295.ca , you will see they are also many places in Quebec. They have a spam filter (am waiting for reply on how it works) + scan for viruses at source.
Have a back-up isp as well  www.ncf.ca  which is $60.± a year sent in as you can. (you can also volunteer in lieu of...) great spam filter there.

The setup fee as at Feb.19'04, is $10.00. Since you must pay first & last months, "initial" layout would be: ($2.95 + $2.95 + $10.00 + GST of $1.11) = $17.01.

This service is not national...it's only presently available in three areas....Toronto, Ottawa, and Hamilton.
