Title: Refunds
|
|
SysMatrix Guest
According to your User Polices that we had asked you to read before using our services, we did nothing wrong.
"Refunds
In the case that a customer requests a refund, SysMatrix.Net. will refund all money paid by customer if any of the following conditions are met:
If SysMatrix.Net. is unable to provide the services that the customer purchased. (SysMatrix.Net. can not be held responsible if the customer did not check to see if there was a local access number or if the customer's computer is faulty or the service is not used. No refund will be available for this.) E-mail and news feed server access is also not promised. SysMatrix.Net. is only guarantying dial-up access. News and mail servers are an added bonus to the customers accounts.
If the customer cancels his/her account, the account will be marked to close at the end of the billing term. There will be no further charges and no refund.
Setup fees are non refundable.
If the user fails to read these user policies before signing up with SysMatrix.Net and/or breaks any of the rules stated with in this polices page, there will be no refund given.
At time of sign-up, customer will be required to provide CVV2 code on the back of their credit card to prove that they have their credit card in hand. This information will be provided to their credit card company if there is a charge back requested."
But we will look into this further to determine if all items were followed correctly.

Title: Cancelling Sysmatrix is a Hassle (Round II, Part A

I meant to say JULY, not June.
However, my typo gave me another opportunity to post a message and bash Sysmatrix again.

Title: Cancelling Sysmatrix is a Hassle (Round II)
|
|
Kenneth Andrews Guest
To follow up on my own posting of June 1, I received an e-mail from Sysmatrix today (June 9) that informed me that my account would be deleted as of the next billing cycle.
That response is inadequate. I was billed for three months. I want a credit of $20. I'm moving to a location where Sysmatrix does not have toll-free access. Duh ... I don't pay for what I don't get.
Now I've had to waste my time telephoning my credit card company, telling my story twice on the telephone, writing it down, and faxing it as well. In addition, I'm spending my time to give Sysmatrix as much bad publicity on Freedomlist as I can.
If I don't get my money back, I plan to get $20 of satisfaction through messages like this one.
To paraphrase Arnold, "I'll be back."

Title: Cancelling Sysmatrix service is a hassle
|
|
Kenneth Andrews Guest
Sysmatrix service is very good. However, it bills in three month increments. I was billed today for three additional months. I'm moving at the end of July, and my new location does not have Sysmatrix access numbers. I telephoned to discover that (according to Sysmatrix) a charge cannot be reversed once it has been applied to the credit card.
I was told to cancel via the web site. Cancellation can ONLY be made via the web site. E-mail notification must take place before the last twelve days of the billing cycle. On July 1, I notified Sysmatrix to cancel on July 31. I asked for a $20 credit to my credit card for August and September. We'll see what else I have to go through to get my refund for the two unused months.
This is my first experience with an ISP that requires online cancellation and online cancellation long before the end of the month. Up to now I've always been able to cancel on the last day of the month with a telephone call.
I may not be out any money. After all, I paid for July and I'll use the service until the end of July. All in all, however, I'd suggest looking for a company strictly on a month to month basis.

Title: SysMatrix

cutiecuero Guest
I used AOL for about one year before switching to SysMatrix. I have used SysMatrix for about one year, also, and there is no comparison. SysMatrix is superior. I was disconnected from AOL, daily, and I assumed that this was the norm. I have never had a disconnect with SysMatrix. This is a clean ISP with excellent techical support. I highly recommend this ISP.

Title: My choice was Sysmatrix Net, and I have no regrets
|
About three months ago I chose Sysmatrix as my ISP and haven't regretted it even once. What you get for $10 per month is fantastic, and it's just a tad more than others offer. Tech support is excellent, connections are top notch, more nationwide local dial-up numbers than most services, web storage, multiple email accounts, the entire set of newsfeeds, etcetera. I have NO plans to switch again.

Title: Super deal!
|
|
Evil Villan Guest
I have had this service for well over a year now and love it. I get faster connections than I did with AOL or other providers. I have yet to get any Spam, junk e-mail or ads. Tech support is great!
Why should you spend $15, $20 or more of your dollars per month for Internet service when you can get a no hastle, straight shooting service for $10 a month.

My name is Ken. I am a houstonian. I think this one is a good deal. You pay $30 only at signing up. Then every month you pay $10
Sounds like a great deal compared to AccessCheap
