connecting to the net

help! help!!
folks i've used them all; aol,prodigy, at&t, msn, compuserve and most of the popular free isp's and always get knocked off around 6:00pm until the following day. i had my lines checked and made numerous calls but nothing helps. what gives? i live in the bronx, nyc but don't hold that against me.

do you get disconnected through plain dialup connection as well?
try to configure dialup connection through metconnect.com (its fisp in NYC)
see if it works.
