How do you get your friends'/relatives/ IP Addresses? I don't know what my own is!

C:\WINDOWS\WINIPCFG.EXE or winipcfg in start/run this is also a good place to check yur dns once this open right click sendto/ desktop as a shortcut

Does Gphone really work that great with a 56K modem? Most of these pc to pc phones that I have used are so bad that it isn't worth it. Too much echo, tunnel and delay effects.

When you run Gphone, it displays your IP address. (assuming you're connected to the internet).

Thas is ok for getting my ip address, but it sounds like I need the ip address of the person that I want to call. That seems like kind of a hassle.[/list][/quote]

I know. That's why I haven't been able to test out the quality yet. But I figure if both people use instant messengers, it would be easy to send IP addresses to the people you want to call with Gphone.

btw, if you use instant messengers, try out Trillian. Communicate with AIM/ICQ/MSN/Yahoo instant messengers.. all with one small, free program. Best piece of freeware ever.
