Hello,

For a limited time new customers who signup for our unlimited access plan for our standard rate of only $4.94 per month will get one additional month free.

Simply signup for our service using the signup page located on our website @  https://www.dialup.cc/signup.php  * Once your signup process is complete email support (at) dialup.cc using your new dialup.cc email address, and tell us that you saw this offer on Freedomlist. We will then apply a credit to your account for the second month.

*Pleas note that our instant signup page can take almost 2 minutes to load over a very slow connection. Please give it time to load.

Thank you,
Kyle Leissner

When I signed up for dialup.cc in late November I submitted a request for the free second month and got it. My son signed up a few days ago and requested his free second month and he promptly received credit for his free month. Apparently this offer is still valid. Good deal, Good service Thumb Up

Hehe, Mr_Reaper, thanks for addressing my case. After I posted that message about my sign-up problem, I also sent an email to Kyle Leissner on the same day addressing the problem. He replied my email almost immediately asking which my criedit card company was and which browser I was using. I answered his questions by replying his email immediately. That is on Sep 19th. Now, it is Sep 30th. Eleven days has passed and I have never heard from Mr Leissner again. You can tell a red flag has been raised with this ISP by now.

I have used many ISP services before and I can tell you that this dialup.cc is the only ISP that I have ever had trouble signning up with. Everytime after I carefully filled out the sign-up form and press "submit" button, I get a "Processing Error" page (I have tried to sign up with their sign-up page for serveral times). There is definately a bug/bugs in their sign-up page. I'm using Mozilla Firefox 1.0.6, by the way. Maybe their page doesn't like Firefox, only takes IE? Well, at this point, I can only guess.

Well, I have given dialup.cc a chance and I don't like what I see so far. Their sign-up page is incompetent and their customer service is non-exsistent. I would stay away with this ISP.

I agree about the red flag, giving it a chance, not liking what I saw, and staying away. I've had similar experiences. Not about signing up. But from your post it sounds like Kyle is quick to ask for your card info. But as with me even recently, quite slow to respond to other things. Perhaps customer service has improved though from your 11 days to my 7 now. Wink

Actually, I was referring to my questions, heh...

It's understandable if he are slow to respond at the moment, since he was in Dallas, which was evacuated because of the hurricane... but he was here at the forum, asking again about getting listed while skipping over my questions.....

Did I miss it or did Kyle still not answer the question about webhosting?

Late yesterday I signed up without a hitch. The signup page was a little slow loading, but not intolerable. The whole process was very smooth and have not had any problems using the service. I was able to immediately access my dialup.cc web mail and I sent in the request for my free month. This morning I received the following email:

"Sorry for the late response due to Hurricane Rita. We are located in
Houston, Texas, and did have minor power outages; however our main
servers were unaffected thanks to our UPS and generator backup
services.
A credit of one month free has been applied to your account. Thank you
for using our service.
Thank you,
DIALUP.CC SUPPORT TEAM"
I had a slower responce to my request for the free month in late September, but it was understandable, and it did come. I also got a :processing error" last month when I signed my son up which was promptly resolved by email support. I used my credit card, but put his address on the account which didn`t match the card, so it was flagged with a processing error. My mistake, but I did get a resolution in less than 24 hours. When I requested the free month for my son, I received a prompt email responce giving him credit. Lately I had been having some problems connecting with two of the three access nunbers in my area, which began to discourage me, but the other number worked fine. Turned out to be my primary modem. When I switched over to my good old Lucent backup modem, all my connection problems instantly disappeared. It`s easy sailing now. Resolving these kind of problems is never a pleasant experience. We`re usually eager to get it working, and an hour`s delay seems like a day, and a day seems like a week, and in our frustration, we are usually quick to blame only the ISP for the problem. Problem arise! But, we can usuall work these things out if we want to. Well, I was able to, and am am certainly glad I did. I`ve been very happy user of dialup.cc now for 5 months. Big Grin

It looks like the offer was still available the end of January based on the times of posts. Does anyone know if it still is now in late Feb?
