One of the best freeisp if you live in New York I always connect at 115,200 bps. It would be nice to have a few more acsess numbers, sometime's the lines get so tide up its unbeleaveable.

I tried this one and was very disappointed. Slow connection speeds at 36K or less. 20 second countdown to disconnect if idle for only about 10 mins. I deleted it.

I live in NYC and its very good isp indeed. They have live telephone support that i never needed to use but its good thing to know. Its kind of slow in a day time but at night i cant complaint about speed. It used to have instalation program but now its plain dialup. Then you know that no aureate is spying you on background:)

I use metconnect as a backup to my BA DSL. Speeds are a little slower than on my old msn connection, but basically OK. This is a bare bones service, no news groups, no webspace and only web based e-mail. Connection is via DUN, but the cost is really nothing! The only information they ask in addition to your address and an e-mail address (optional) is how you found their site (tell them freedomlist.com). No surveys, no banner or pop-up ads, no software tracking your movements. As a backup it's almost perfect.

THE BEST ISP I EVER USED ITS GREAT I ALWAYS GET ON 53.333 AND THEY HAVE ABOUT 5 DUN #S FOR NYC
