It took me 6 months to reformat my computer after address.com installed hidden files and modified my TCP/IP. NEVER install address.com if you plan on using your computer for another isp.

i signed and did the 1 ad per month p00p and when i would sign on it still told me you have 0 days remaining and that i still could not go to any other sites but their affiliates to do it again. address.com used to be a decent free service, never had a time limit of course the banner ads were there but they could be removed..hehe.. anyway, like many other postings say, do not download this program it has a buncha 3rd party p00p.. and its hell to try and remove, much easier to just format..peace..

I had this ISP for a month and would never go back, they dissconnect you 1 hour after you sign on and that was a big pain in the butt.

I don't know who uses what but I'm sure that the whole third party thing can be bypassed like on Linux I'm pretty sure you could kppp the whole thing. By the way I didn't try this number but if they try to make you do all this crap it sounds like a challenge. I might try it but just for the challenge.

The first time I ran the program I hated. They make you buy online every month to get access. They didn't even give me one hour off the bat for trying the dumb ISP. In short, this is the worst I've seen yet and I'd rather pay $10 a month if this were the only free ISP available.

If you have any idea what your computer is made of, how it works, etc., you'll see what this does to it. Like AOL, it installs literally dozens of unnecessary third party programs, at least half of which do nothing but take up space, and the other half being spyware. And if you know what spyware is, you'll know that it is oftentime damn near impossible to get rid of. After uninstalling it, you may think you're finished. All it does is remove some obvious files (Shortcuts, etc.) and take it off the add/remove list. The entire bloody program, more or less, is still there.
My processor is a monster, 2.233 GHz. AOL caused it to run at 1.4 GHz. This crappy thing made it run at a pathetic 706.1 MHz. On top of that, an ad would still occasionally pop up until I manually removed every bloody file. That took me well over a week.
I hope I've brought to light exactly what this program does. If you want free internet access this bad (And I'm very poor, so can't afford even the $10/mo. that many charge), download it. Be my guest. But if you don't want your computer to be downgraded to the processing level of a rock, keep well away. Thanks.

I was one of the first
and one of the first to get da fu**
out thid program.
As soon as I installed it I got out of it.
And had to reformat my HARD DRIVE
so I could take all da 3rd party programs
that this isp installed on me BEAUTIUFUL hd
what did they do to you baby?
