I'm using this service now and hoping for the best. It seems to be alright, although with some of the numbers not working at the moment.

I get the feeling this is a one-man tech support operation or something. At the very least, I get some decent answers and the guy is responsive.

The e-mail system looks rather archaic, so you are probably better off with a web based e-mail service such as Gmail.

I may report back later with my experiences (after a successful year maybe?)

Pros: Cheap monthly price.
Customer Service.

Cons: This ISP can go down for several days, so one cannot connect.
Newsgroup server can go down for several days.
Newsgroup server has limited download limit.
Cannot log into E-mail most of the time.
Cannot get Outlook to connect using their settings.
If you can connect to your E-mail, there is a bandwidth allocation. (No large
attachments).

I used Goct.net for several months. In January 2009 they were offline for two weeks. So I canceled and the refund was credited to my Visa.

Excellent, robust and reliable 56kbps service. Includes news server at no extra cost! Huge number of local phone numbers across the nation. Go for it!

After reviewing the website, this may be a good ISP deal for a 400 hour max ISP for about $6.75.

I really have never been so happy about an ISP provider, but small companies really rock!
Its great to talk to a real person when you need help.
Super cheap too!

though i have used freedomlist whenever i am looking for a better deal for an isp, i have never had such a good experience that i commented on the provider. goct has been very reliable and the support is wonderful. my account gives me 400 hours a month which is superb!

I have been with this ISP for about 8 months and it is by far the best low-cost ISP That I have ever had. They offer serveral plans and provide excellent technical support which is free. Their personnel are always extremely courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend GOCT to anyone looking for a low-cost dial-up provider is honest and provides outstanding service!

I just signed up here, and it is already going smoother! I have had so mch trouble with 550access... I don't care if 550access does keep charging me, I think I like this one much better.

I had this service for two months, before I moved to Central America.

I found the the dialup at 50 plus rate, and the customer service very good, in tech help and billing.

I build web pages, and had no problems whatsoever connecting or staying on the net.

Plan on using them again when in the good ole USA! exclaim
