Nowdays, these big companies don't want to talk to the common person. Everything is computerized. You can't talk with a real live person. The service is non existant. The big companies want your money, and thats the bottom line. I tried to get my mail and I get an error message of COFE 1801. I tried the live chat and the person on the other end emailed me an couple of addresses. One source of help is not free, it cost $19.99. The other source is unavailable. The American public is thrown to the wolves.

I have been using Netscape ISP for over a year now and cant find a fault. It works as the ads claim, 100% unlimited. I have spent up to 20 hours straight online downloading a large file and was not disconnected. Also I get connections in the high 40s. You must DUN the connection in order to stabilize it. Their software is crap and loaded with spyware, once DUNed no spyware and a stablier connection. One of the few software based cheap ISPs that can still be DUNed. I give them 4 out of 5 for DUNed service and 1 / 5 for not DUNed service. Have FUN :0P

I have had 0 problems with all2easy its a great isp if you dont need to be on line 24/7 or tryin dialupcc its also good.

I've had netscape now for a few months w/accelerator. Most the time accelerator doesn't work, I get kicked offline, can't get on at all, runs real slooooow, and am getting major spyware, at least 25 critical objects per use. I am dumping them just don't know who to use. Been cruising comments on freedomlist doesn't seem to be very many people satisfied with any isp provider. At this time no choice but dial up for us. HELP!

Netscape - $9.95/month with a One Month Free Trial.

I signed up for Netscape Internet Service in October of 2005 and I gotta say that the sign up process couldn't be better. It was direct and informative at the same time without being to "pushy" about other service options. Everything was listed as far as options, but seperated from the true sign up process. The whole process including the download of the software took about 2-3 minutes. The actual file size is about 781kb so you do the math on the download time. 781/56= 14 seconds, can't beat that.

The software is pretty cool, having a toolbar at the top of my screen on the desktop that allows me to browse and check my email. The toolbar also includes controls that allows you to customize how Netscape behaves as far as window use and confirmation of connection status. Accessing My Account is a breeze as well as the link is also on the toolbar.

I think it is safe to say that the service that Netscape provides is a good balance of Quality, Flexibility, and Ease of use. The Bottom Line is I would recommend Netscape Internet Service to anyone who asked me about Internet Service Providers. Two Thumbs Up Netscape!

free month to try it, I messed up and didn't do it right, was charged for that frist month. I called and they gave me a refund about 4-5 days later.

Does disconnect often, You must use there software to access.There software locks you out of the (win xp)properties in windows dun so no ics,compression ect ect.

Does have a "want to stay online popup" running a program like "stayalive pro" to click the popup's and connect to other sites on random helps.

If you run the program and setup your task manager to run netscape program you can run 24/7 . So it is a true unlimited. but might still be a tos.

No matter what after the month i canceled , i wanted something else, that didnt have software with. When you cancel they try about 3-4 times to get you to stay with them anyway. They will offer you another free month too.

So you can get upto two months free or after saying no thanks 4 times they will cancel you Smile

I am having the same problem. They are blaming everything from a software conflict to poor phone lines. No mention that netscape is the problem.

To find the dial tone setting and the access numbers(local phone numbers), you must download the Netscape program. Than install it; during the install and set up process, look at the options and procedures, you will find them there.
About cancelling, I have tried it a couple of times (just to compare with my access4less), and, cancelled before the end of the trial period, without a hassel. Over the phone, and in only a few minutes , and done. It worked great and I think that now after cancelling my access4less, I will be gonin back to Netscape with same ID ans e-mail as I done in the past. LOL

anyone know what the difference is between this service and access 4 less' .that iii might notice? I use the latest firefox and the latest ie on xp sp2? ineed to find one as reliable as a4L... soon LOL at least until one of the overpriced services buy them off also

Cool had no problems with this isp other then "tech support" being somewhere in India with the scripts that AOL and CompUserve use. Suggest using Firefox browser with it, in addition to free accelerator makes this one of the faster services. If you never need the tech support, this is a good isp now.

i currently use netscape, but be warned now!!! if you play any online games ( eq or coh) you can not log in to game servers !! this is netscapes problem not game problem. this has been going on for 3 weeks, and i have not heard from netscape as to eta on resolve. other than that i have had no problems with this isp.

After my leaving The 'benevolent' Dictator's ISP (wmconnect.com) who's service was pretty nice actually, I fled to Netscape's ($9.95) "new ISP" which seemed to work pretty smoothly UNTIL they performed a 'maintenance' shutdown (Jan 7th '05).

Since then I've been unable to sign-in or access my email or account status yet I'm still connected to the web(and still billed for "service"!). To call customer service (in India, of course) I have to wait until it's convenient for THEM (mornings only M-F) was cut off/hanged-up at least once and warned the call might cost me $10.95 for tech support.

After all this, the CSR assured me that I needed to download the 7.2 browser which would fix the problem. Of course it took forever & did absolutely NOTHING. Now I have to wait till it's convenient for THEM to again call a CSR in India for the 'priviledge' of CANCELing my netscape account!

MY ADVICE: Wait for Netscape to get it's act together and MATURE as an ISP before you sign up for service with them!

What a headache. I should have listened to the other reviews, but the commercials seemed so convincing. I'm a *** for a good add. This service stinks. I have been unable to log on. Unable to get tech help. Now I am trying to cancel. The only way may be to have the Bank stop the credit card payments. Maybe then I will get them to respond. Good thing I haven't canceled my other service yet, and if you are considering Netscape, I sujjest you do the same.

Remember Netscape is AOL; so whatever nonsense AOL does, you can expect the same from Netscape.
If you wouldn't use AOL, then don't think of trying Netscape.

i was charged too and still waiting for refund.
btw for those who used their email service better scan your computer for spyware and malewares specially if it had any url and you clicked on'em as it turned out most has xss script .

It does look like Netscape includes accelerated disl-up with their $9.95 service. I guess that is a positive feature of this ISP.

I'm on peoplepc now and manually entering the number and password their dialer uses in my dun won't get me on either.

Anyway DSL has finally arrived in my little hamlet so I'm not putting any more effort into finding a good dial-up isp.

Guess how I did this. I had my dialer set for pulse for the last three years. Their program did the dialing and I couldn't find a pulse/tone select in it and the tech guy didn't help...if he actually understood. My picture of tech support is always a barely literate imbecile with a flow chart in front of him/her and this guy didn't change it.
