Wow, with numerous catches that accomplied the "free" service, it came to no surprise that the service didn't last very long. Juno was bad enough.

Here is the definition of the word "FREE" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (fre)
1. Not imprisoned or enslaved; being at liberty.
2. Not controlled by obligation or the will of another: felt free to go.
3.
a. Having political independence: “America... is the freest and wealthiest nation in the world” (Rudolph W. Giuliani).
b. Governed by consent and possessing or granting civil liberties: a free citizenry.
c. Not subject to arbitrary interference by a government: a free press.
4.
a. Not affected or restricted by a given condition or circumstance: a healthy animal, free of disease; free from need.
b. Not subject to a given condition; exempt: income that is free of all taxes.
5. Not subject to external restraint: “Comment is free but facts are sacred” (Charles Prestwich Scott).
6. Not literal or exact: a free translation
7.
a. COSTING NOTHING; GRATUITOUS: a free meal.
b. Publicly supported: free education.

adv.
1. In a free manner; without restraint.
2. WITHOUT CHARGE.

Where I come from, my time costs money and it takes time to complete sponsered offers, that usually cost money. ie: interest rates on tranfered balances, subscription or membership fees. This makes your claim to be free fraudulent.

well, just for grins I signed up, got my access numbers, and set up a DUN connection (without downloading their surpriseware), it connected okay at first, but the next thing I knew it hijacked my IE browser and would not let me do anything unless I made a 'purchase'.......

so I don't know how you guys are surfing for free, wouldn't work for me Frown((

This free ISP isn't really worth it! Even the 10 hours with banner is worth it. These are reason not to install Address.com

1.Spyware! -All those things like gator. and asking you to change your start-up page is a sign of spyware? Do not belive me! Install free spyware remover at  www.spw-sweeper.com  or at www.lavasoftusa.com I warning you know (Spware are annoying program that slows your computer and pop-up tons of advertisements. Some spyware collect personal infomation break)

2. Commercial Break-(WTF? Commercial breaks are more agravating then the banner!! They stop your internet access for 15sec before continuing to load your webpage. These commercial breaks show up every 4 webpages!!

3. Not really surfing-They have more ads that slow your computer then any ISP. This ISP is only good if you are a fool that will buy anything. They do not provide you with free ISP! Heck you can't even check email without an ad trying to sell you something.

4. ISP- If you are on a trial and trying to find a free ISP do not install Address.com!! There are Free ISP out thier you just have to find them! Use Juno or Netzero as a Temp ISP before you find the service that is right for you. If you are a heavy user of ISP and don't want limit then I have to say this! The only way you can use unlimit is ask a friend who pays for ISP but barely use it ask them for a user screen name (^-^)
