For http:www.address.com/ , free ISP, this web site is OK to visit but not as a main web site or back up. There are numerous catches and other attachments. Reference  http://www.all-free-isp.com/address.php  . Their premium service is better but still can or may have uninstall problems if choosing another ISP. Although address.com is a high risk free ISP (technical/ marketing requirements), the web site can of interest to some but recommend visiting the web site rather than as a home page. There is a requirement of an active email account, at least two visits per month with or without NET FLIP (affinity group). Some sponsor ads includes Video Professor, book clubs and music groups. Careful on Credit Card sign ups and related. Also, there can be connectivity issues. Address.com is an affinity group ISP provider in its category. This category differs for other categories of ISP providers and should be reviewed as such (different or by itself). For other than premium service, recommend another category of low cost internet service provider as available, for the long term and then just visiting the web site on sponsor offers.

Try Access4free as it gives you 10 hours a month for free (no banners). You pay $5 one time to set it up and then if you go over the 10 free hours in a given month, you can pay $1 for each additional hour and when you reach $10 that month, the remaining time is free. In other words, you get the same deal as Juno or NZ with the option to use more. I have had it for about 8 months and it is a great back-up.

what kind of crap is this, where you have to buy things and then wait for a week before you get FREE
internet service.......that isn't free..........I hate something that says one thing but isn't what it says,
heck, I'd rather pay AOL than this crap .

So, I have been using this ISP for a few months and all I can say is that it is the best available, really, even better that AOL! Fast, reliable, no spyware . . . hang on a second, what was I thinking? If you believe any of that, maybe you would be also be interested in some beachfront property in Iowa! DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!

The Freedomlist mainpage has a link to the listings. Unless you are in an area that has a local or regional, you will be limited to the 10 free hour per month ones.: Juno, NetZero or access4free. Access4free is $4.95 one time and gives you 10 hours with the option to go over at $1.00 per hour with a maximum monthly charge of $10 if you go over 20 hours which is about the best one and it has NO BANNERS or Software to install.

After having tried to go through this ISP in oder for the service to be activated as a free acount you have to make a purcase from one of thier third parties. The service is free every month based upon your purchasing something each month from thier third parties.

Thank you all so much for your comments on this service. I am greatly relieved I did not download this. And thank you freedomlist for giving us consumers a forum in which to rate these services.
