I am amazed how this private company has provided me with the greatest service ever. This company is a real internet service provider. These negative reviews are nonsense. CWNET is the most affordable and most organized and honest ISP. I have not seen anyone like them. I have already referred my friends and family to them and they have also loved CWNET. Thank You CWNET for your service. Grin

I have used cwnet since 1998. i am about ready to give up. I have noticed a continous downward spiral since 2005.Examples: disconnected from server while sending an email,weekly downtime of server since 2006,ignoring setting for spam,outsourcing techs to individuals who have not been trained in good diction or can not articulate well,answering service for company completely antiquated and unable to connect caller or take a message, Ubable to get on to internet a minimum now of twice to three times a week. Call back from techs takes twenty four to forty eight hours.

Worse of all no one at managment level of CWNET cares or responds to complaints!

Satisfaction? Got ir from cwnet. Fast service for my antiquated machine, polite replies to almost silly questions and help when I needed it; what more could one ask from an internet service? Thanks CWNET.COM

If you think of using CWNet, then think again!

I have been a customer of CWNet Communications for more than 4 years until I noticed that they charged my credit card for a software that I did not even download from this ISP.
I requested the unauthorized charges to be credited back and they behaved like jerks. I asked my account to be closed, but they would not give me the correct refund amount.
When the discussions heated up, a mentally retarded by the name of tony, left repeated messages on my work telephone number with slurs.
When I notified their manager and president, no other significant action has been taken. This seems to be the CWNet standard customer service. WATCH OUT!

And I am not an isolated case. Please verify their records with the BBB in Sacramento, CA, to see how many unanswered complaints they have accumulated already!

Many of my friends look to me for advice about their computers, and this extends to ISPs. Unfortunately, it would be difficult AND expensive to acquire any real, direct, comparative knowledge of even a small number of ISPs. So, we all have to rely on research, especially this sort of posting.
In the last couple of years I have sent several CA friends to CWNET because: A. The price and features seamed to be a perfect match, B. They were willing and able to take the chance, and C. Almost anything sould be better than AOL.
Well, they have all been thrilled, and have reminded me frequently of that fact, so today I'm helping a MN friend sign up, despite having only one phone number for the entire state.
If this works as well here as it has in California, and I suspect it will, they may have to add numbers just for the new customers I send . . .
